We thought it would be appropriate to go live on World Prematurity Awareness Day – we hope you’re reading along while wearing purple!

The idea for this blog came after a group of us had been on TheBump.com’s preemies board for several months. We noticed that the same thoughts, concerns, and questions were being wondered and asked by mothers across the country but there wasn’t a collective site to turn to. While there are certainly fantastic resources for preemie parents out there (we have those listed, too) we wanted to see one place address all areas of premature concern.

Our hope is that you will find this site useful and help it grow. By sharing your story you never know whose heart you’ll wind up comforting. Has your family experienced particular surgeries or complications? What are your tricks on dealing with reflux? How do you tell people to please not touch your baby in public? What products have you found essential? What do you know now that you wish you knew then?

If you don’t have time to write an article/blurb – that’s OK, too! Just tell us your thoughts and we’ll put something together.

The Preemie Resource Blog is still under construction so please excuse the dust. After putting this together there will be a forthcoming article on multitasking ;)

Here’s how to contact us!

Our best,

Kristen – KCK329 on TB
