Hydrobabies

My name is Joanna, and I'm married to Seamus, the love of my life. On September 25, 2011 our world was rocked by the premature birth of our twins, Aiden & Ryan. Subsequently, they were diagnosed with Hydrocephalus. This is a place for me to talk about that. I hope you will listen.

A Great Place to Raise a Family
My husband and I live in a tiny company town in Michigan that sometimes reminds me way too much of Pleasantville.

I am a first time mom, dealing with the challenges of raising a premature infant (born at 29 weeks, 2 days gestation) that has Cystic Fibrosis. My husband & I have 2 Boston Terrier rescues that add an extra element of fun to our family.

Charlotte's Web

Charlotte was born on 3-3-2011 at 5:38 p.m. via emergency c-section, 12 weeks premature. She weighed 2 lbs, 8 oz and was 14.5 inches long. She spent 8 weeks in 2 level III NICUs where she was given the job to grow, sleep, and eat. We are blessed that she excelled at her job, and on April 28th, she joined us at home! Our blog chronicles her NICU days and life with our amazing daughter since she came home.

Channing was born on November 20, 2010 at 26 weeks and 5 days gestation. Channing weighed 2 lbs, 7 ounces and was 14 1/2 inches long. She was delivered by emergency c-section due to incompetent cervix. She spent 105 days in the NICU and came home on March 4, 2011.

We’re two sisters in our 30s who are new moms living on opposite sides of the Atlantic, Kate in Spain, Aly in Delaware.  Although, we’re new to motherhood we’re certainly not new to child care coming from a very large family. Plus, we do our research. We have lots of fun things to share from our adventures in babyland and we hope you join us on our journey.

I'm Kathy, a hobbyist photographer. I started this blog as a way to document my journey in photography and share my passion with others. Shortly after starting this new adventure, I became pregnant with our first son and he was born 14 weeks early. Photography became my outlet during his 17-week NICU stay and I haven't been able to put the camera down ever since.

My (only slightly) neurotic life is a blur of blogging, being a SAHM to my 25 week micro-preemie & my never ending quest for great deals and really good fitting jeans

J & I met at work in March 2004, and before you knew it were head over heels for each other. We got engaged in early 2005, and married on November 12, 2005. We spent the first several years of our marriage enjoying each other, traveling a lot, buying our first home. In Sept 2007 we began to try to begin our family. Two and a half years later, on our third IVF cycle, we finally got pregnant. Our son, Andrew John, made a very early arrival on June 28, 2010 at only 23w5d. He's our miracle boy!

These are the adventures, or not so.. that has taken place since our arrival into Maine on July 21, 2011. Mom was put on bedrest at 25w4days; little Gracie was born with Maxwell on August 3rd.. you'll have to read on to get the rest.. Enjoy!

We are the proud parents of boy/girl twins (thanks to IVF) born at 26 weeks, on Feb 14 2011.

These are the chronicles of my life. While I’ve been blogging for over 15 years, UrbanFlowerpot will take you along the last two years as I meet my husband and have a preemie. These are the adventures surrounding those events.  Updated daily, full of photographs and general craftiness.

I'm a 20-something Southern Belle, cop's wife, former Kindergarten teacher and current stay-at-home mom to our beautiful twin babies. Grayson and Audrey were born on March 25, 2011, three and a half months early but absolutely perfect nonetheless. They spent 109 days in the NICU and came home July 12, two days before their due date, and we are loving every minute of life with them!

I'm Bridgit, the Queen Bee of my house.  I'm married to Scott, who shall be known as Honey Bee.  We have three little bees, a daughter and twin boys. (Also an author of the Preemie Resource Blog!)

The Adventures of MommyMoo
I think everyone knows that motherhood isn't easy, but not everyone knows just how hilarious it can be. This is my recount of how I became to be known as Mommy Moo.
